Guarantee Letter for Visa Sponsor
A sponsor's guarantee letter tells the consulate who is paying for the visit and why the applicant will return home. This template gives that assurance in the structure visa officers expect.

When and how to use this letter
Write this letter only if you genuinely can support the visitor — consulates verify finances, and an overstated guarantee discovered to be false can damage both the application and your own credibility. The letter's job is to answer the officer's core question: who pays for this trip, and why will the visitor go home?
Attach real evidence: recent bank statements, employment letter or business proof, your passport or residence-permit copy, and proof of address. A guarantee letter without financial documents is just a claim; with them, it becomes a credible commitment. State exactly what you cover — accommodation, food, local travel, return ticket — and be honest about what you do not.
Give the visit clear dates and a purpose. Vague, open-ended visits raise overstay concerns; a three-week family visit with a return date reads as a genuine plan. Mention the applicant's ties to home — job, family, property — because the officer weighs those heavily.
The detail sponsors often miss: include your immigration status in the host country. A sponsor who is themselves on a temporary or uncertain status carries less weight than a citizen or permanent resident, and omitting it looks evasive when the consulate checks anyway. Sign the letter, date it, and send the applicant both a scanned copy and the original if the consulate requires it.
