NOC From Employer for Passport
Some employers — especially government and public-sector organizations — must formally state they have no objection to an employee applying for a passport. This template provides that no-objection wording on official lines.

When and how to use this letter
Request this NOC only if your employment rules or your country's passport process actually requires it — many private-sector employees do not need one at all, and an unnecessary letter can slow you down if it invites extra scrutiny. If you work in government, the military, or a public-sector organization, the NOC is usually mandatory and must come from the designated authority, not just any manager.
Submit the request to HR in writing, well before your passport appointment — processing can take a week or more in large organizations. Provide your CNIC or ID number and the purpose (new passport or renewal) so the letter states it correctly. The letter must be on official letterhead, signed by an authorized person, and stamped; a plain email printout is often rejected.
Check that the letter carries an issue date and, where applicable, a validity period. Passport offices commonly refuse NOCs older than six months, so time your request to your application slot. Verify that your name and ID number are spelled exactly as on your identity documents — a single spelling mismatch can void the letter at the counter.
A useful tip: ask HR for two originals, one for the passport office and one for your records, because replacing a lost NOC means restarting the internal approval chain. If your employer has a standard NOC format, use theirs rather than this template — officials prefer familiar formats. And if you change jobs after the NOC is issued but before applying, get a fresh one; the letter names the issuing employer.
